The class hamster comes home every weekend and is a very important member of our family now. My girls love him and I suppose it's a great way of having a pet without too much responsibility.
However, I have been looking for a new teaching post and I have an interview this Thursday - if I get the job the class hamster will come to live with me. Will I take him to my new school? Not sure yet - I suppose I will have to see if they will let me or if my girls want more than a weekend pet.
