Had a lovely cupa with a friend today, helped her to set up her Facebook business like page and also sorted out a few things for my mum and dad. Day 2 #40acts.

There's a first time for everything... revisited.

I started a blog way back in 2011 to document life and I was the world's worst blogger. My blog posts are all still here, and they do interest me. Not sure they would interest anyone else though. I’m Liz, married to Brian with two grown up daughters. Katie and Alice. I work as a QTVI (Qualified Teacher of Children and Young People with Vision Impairment) and love my job but really want to be retired and doing my own thing. In the meantime, I’m just going to try and make some memories. The blog is called “”’There’s a first time for Everything’ because I still find I have lots of firsts, at my age. Hopefully, I can use this to document some firsts. However many there are.

Lockdown 3

It’s half term and we’re in yet another lockdown. I want to blog more regularly but I always forget. What prompted me this time? A phone! It’s taking some getting used to though. I’ve gone back to apple from android. I love apple more but it’s a lot different and loading all the apps is taking forever. Nearly done though. One day later.

Quality mother/daughter time

This weekend, I spent time with my eldest daughter. We booked a short break to London with National Holidays and had a wonderful time watching the Lion King. Wow! What a totally amazing show with stunning costumes and brilliant singing/acting. Thoroughly enjoyed the time away. We went to Camden Town, visited the well-known market and the lock and then a quick Uber ride to Oxford Street and a spot of shopping before returning home. Such a lovely time away and so precious to spend it with Katie.
